To get down there you have to crawl down a steep and
narrow switchbacking gravel road with no guardrail, cut into the side
of the cliff.
This is the Moki Dugway.
Once you're down, the modern highway resumes. You're
in trouble if you're too scared to drive down the steep
switch-backing road. It's a looonnngg detour around!
