It seems as though there are orchids everywhere in
Newfoundland. This is White Bog Orchid, which is very common. It is
found all along roadsides, as well as in bogs.

The route to the top lies through the prominent gully in the center of the
photo.
We didn't climb to the top on this trip, for various reasons.
