There's a dugout in the middle of the
property. The presence of cattails in the water shows that there's
water in it year-round. Which in turn indicates that the water table
is not very far down. |

One third of the property is hardwood
forest. There are trails through it. It appears that there will be
plenty of spring wildflowers in the woods. |

mostly young trees. However, there are some nice old trees along the
forest edge. Photos to come at a later date. |

There appears to be mostly Sugar Maple, Ironwood (Hop Hornbeam), and
Hemlock. probably other species as well, but I have yet to do any sort
of inventory. |
